"The Real World"
what you gonna do
when your world
is wrapped up in love
and all you've loved
taken away from you,
a hollow heart remains
an empty vacuum
the implosion,
of all you've loved
taken down the
black rabbit hole;
we were never the same
species, you and I,
we never were;
the smaller truth stolen
by the fallen, poisonouS;
Spider transfigures
into Snake,
boxing gloves on,
the soft satin punched
blue bird inside, wrong;
riding quills caged -
yet the true convicted,
now free ride takes
all of the memories
and time that should
have been yours;
another felonious
story written,
dreams buried
dreams tortured,
the real truth unseen,
bruised, rots away poetically;
what you gonna do
when your world
is wrapped up in love
and your eyes
are blind from all
the false light
hissing out,
around you
deflated corporeality
sucked up
in the endless
nightmare
of the real world,
no longer loving
the real lie
that is a fellon’s
camouflaged
world
