The Real Reason For the Season
Christmas time is drawing near.
Time to spread that holiday cheer.
Time to make that gingerbread house.
And on Christmas Eve to be quiet as a mouse.
I hope with all this we don't forget the reason.
The meaning of Christmas the reason for the season.
The fact that it's the day we celebrate the birth.
The birth of Jesus the one sent down to earth .
He was sent here for us to suffer and die.
He payed for our sins without blinking an eye.
I hope that we all remember that's the reason.
And keep that in mind while we enjoy the season.
