The Real Deal
You are kind, generous, beautiful, and intelligent, this is not my imagination
Love, honor, and pride fill your heart, yet in your eyes I see desperation
No one else matters as much as you, of this fact you need an education
Why can’t you see what all others see, for yourself no appreciation
Your eyes are wide open, but you are blind to your electrification
You must love and respect yourself, you have an obligation
Put all others aside, on your true happiness you must put concentration
Back and forth with your emotions, time to time causing frustration
Not a fight you can afford to loose, kick weakness to the curb with no hesitation
Look at yourself the way all others do, to this fight give dedication
You are amazing in many ways, to many more than you know, you are an inspiration
No more questioning or second guessing, have you forgotten you are God’s creation
The moral to this poem is simple and straight forward, you are worth the celebration
I love and appreciate you; there is nothing I would change, just for your information
So get on with it already, your awesome future is the only motivation
Everything you have thought till now, all up for reevaluation
There is no better time than now, can’t afford procrastination
You are too special, and have too much to offer, just ask your friends for verification
Your daughter looking to you for guidance, show her your determination
She will be proud and confident, avoiding all that you suffered in each situation
It is really quite simple, be honest about who you are, no more character assignation
You have to see the facts, it is apparent to all that surround, look at your reputation
