The Raven Guards
The night became as dark as an Alaskan day,
below the moon was a raven that disappeared-
her whole dim existence was now in disarray,
for it was the raven’s fierceness that interfered.
The veiled moon unexpectedly empty and cleared.
Obscurity and murkiness were on display.
Her spiritual apathy was in high esteem,
no longer could her atonement become repute-
her bloodline to remorse was a forgiven dream,
as the raven was guarding her while in pursuit.
She remembered her beloved who was in route
to find another lover who would be supreme.
Below the moon was a raven that disappeared,
for it was the raven’s fierceness that interfered-
no longer could her atonement become repute,
as the raven was guarding while in pursuit.
