The Rainy Mountain
On the top of it
and down to the river
The rain drops
are carefully falling.
Around, everything
looks up in wonder
The mountain too
but always up amazing
Never has it looked down,
before, now or after.
The mountain is always up and patient
And people feel pride after climbing.
Little do they know the way to it is eminent!
But who wants to pay heed? Who cares?
The sun does not set but hides behind it.
And as you see!
The clouds meet
and kiss the head of it.
Take this then from time
both ancient and modern:
During wind and rain,
The mountain is patient.
During love and hatred,
The mountain is patient.
But when it gets angry,
Please forgive and forget.
