~ the Rain ~
Oh how I love the rain.
"Tap-Pitter-pitter-tap",
"tap-tap-tap-pitter"
"pitter-pitter-tap"
as my soul cries.
Joyous,
graceful,
peaceful,
soothing,
refreshing,
sustaining.
Hope is this way,
love is this way too
feeding the tired soul
washing away the pain.
Amid the enchantment,
as the dark clouds roll-by,
lightning crashes off afar.
As the thunder quakes,
Hope, love, remain.
The rain, God's
sweet refrain.
