The Quieten Soul

There is a kind of silence I seek Some quiet resolve near impossible to find An inner soul perhaps in dire needs With simply the outer layer forgotten behind Almost everyone is to awake similarly Beginning the day with without purpose Searching perhaps for nights to sleep soundly For an eventual... the better the worse And the everydays isn’t what I’m searching I heed for commons to be real and uncommon A quiet desperation without voicing That one silent voice to simply listen Perhaps closer I am than I am to know Too close perhaps to know its never real Moments without given time to show To have moments remembering unseal A quieten time in people to find That quieten soul be who I seek Alive with the outer layer left behind That one kind of silence be all I need
