The Pursuit of Happiness
Does mankind have the inherent right
To be happy with all our might?
Negative feelings and thoughts bring frustration
To anyone, to any nation.
For what ever the cause may be,
No matter what one may see,
The frustration makes the demons laugh.
They triumph as the joy is cut in half,
Then another and it's over!
The simple joys, like bees in clover,
The Spring warmth and peace at home,
Love-coverings as we build the dome,
Protects everyone's happiness everywhere.
Think of what we must bear
To help, serve, pray and give
So that someone else may live.
