The Proposal

You know I love you,
I know you love me.
We belong together,
It was meant to be.

And soon you will be,
In my arms to hold.
Forever in my embrace,
Protected from the cold.

We will be together,
The gods say it so.
Keep your faith in us,
I will never let you go.

Your mind is made up,
Don't change it at all.
Whomever stands against us,
Will surely begin to fall.

Together we are unending,
Immortal and without care.
To give me but a whisper,
And I will soon be there.

Your love tames my flames,
My passion fuels your desire.
And without each other,
We'd fade out like a fire.

Our love is a balance,
Till the end of time you see.
I already know the answer so,
Baby, will you marry me?
