The Prophets Worth
The prophet is worth
Her weight in our gold
He is often courageous
She is often bold.
The prophet is born
With words in her mouth
Not a spoon but a message
God is coming soon.
The prophet is often either
Hailed or rejected
He is often either
Adored or disrespected
Some prophets are humble
Others are not
Prophecy is more popular today
With the promises of blessings and whatnot
The prophet is first formed
In her mother’s womb
He often starts in his gifting a young age
And the words continue to linger
Even after they’ve spent time in the tomb
When a good prophet speaks
The lay members should listen
The best gift is to just believe
So that you can receive
From the Lord!!
