The Promise

You took our lands and our way of life
Gave us this land where we live in strife
We were free to roam on this land
Now we are told we no longer can
To give up all we were taught, honor and respect
And out triaditions we were orderd to reject
But we are proud people and wait for the day
When we will once again have our way
We are a nation mighty and strong
And we will always live on
