The Princess and the Beautiful Road

THE PRINCESS AND THE BEAUTIFUL ROAD 1. The Princess: A generation ago in the month of October A first fruit gifted the world a Princess She was nurtured with the vital ingredients She grew into a damsel with great prowess She grazed and dazzled the walkways of Pageants Her appellation of "the journey road is beautiful" Is just as truthful as it is wonderful With her it appears a lifelong voyage to remember 2. The African Scene: She is a Princess with rich cultural splendour Akin to the Hispanic angels from Guadalajara Her panache occupies the desert sands of the Sahara Up to the grasslands of the Sahel Savannah Meandering through River Nile and Lake Limpopo Across the skies from Mount Drakensberg to Kilimanjaro Adding to her African heritage, morals and honour She is a panacea for all of mankind's Wahala 3. The Royal Garden: In the garden of her divine Royalty Happiness, laughter and joy blossoms Like a Bird of Paradise, she illuminates the orchards With fragrance eclipsing Roses, Lotuses and Orchids A view bettering a Hibiscus, Tulip and a Cherry Blossom Surpassing the scenery created by Dahlias and Gazanias She could easily replicate the sight of Utopia Bringing forth convalesce, empathy and serenity 4. The Significance: The lyrics of this romance script Have always been preserved in my manuscripts Altogether, she portrays my perfect imagination The shadow of her smile personifies my vivid emotions She encourages my positive dreams and aspirations And aligns my templates in best permutations While helping me to soar above my limitations In preparation of a lifetime of true love, care and affection. Jideofor.Obidike as "The Plantagenet"
