The Power of the Tongue

Life and Death, they be
in the power of the Tongue
The unfortunate hung
  others' praises sung

Best to skirt culpability
  by cultivating agreeability ~
If you have nothing nice to say
do not say anything at all

Hello Gershon … the world just witnessed what a fork tongue does; it creates a mob of sheeple - nicely written Gershon - Lindsay

I believe that it's been scientifically proven that people who know when not to say anything live longer, calmer lives. And if hasn't been proven, then it should have been! lol. ~ Professor Fofoofnick

Well said. Each line a gem. Last 2 lines best. Praise ever, criticize never. We get what we give. Enjoy your day friend. Take care Rama

Truly! Blessings and cursings shouldn’t come from the same tongue. Season our tongues with salt. Extend grace to those in our face. God bless ya!

"If you have nothing nice to say, do not say anything at all" Yes, I completely agree. Words can either hurt or heal. Think before you speak. This is deep and powerful, holding so much truth. Your kind words are always appreciated, Gershon. :) Brandy

Hi Gershon, I totally agree, Life and death is in the power of tongue. It could either build up or tear down. I enjoyed the read- Alexis
