The Power of Prayer

The power of prayer
  is not up, over, out
    or down 'there'

It starts with you, as you yearn
a warm fire within you burns
whose flames' upward turn
  ~ elicit Heaven's concern

Written by a poet who has experienced the true power and glory of prayer, Gershon. Elegant in its simplicity. Congratulations on your first place win!

I find much truth in this, and a delightful way of poetically expressing it. "a warm fire within you burns / whose flames' upward turn". Amen.
