The Power of One
The power of one is not about just someone
Acting alone
It's the power that one person has
When stepping out of comfort zones
It's the power that comes from trusting
And having faith in the Lord God
It's the power of sacrifice
and giving from the heart
So many times we doubt our ability
To make a difference in life
But in the grand scheme we need to realize
That we have a gift from Christ
As God has a greater purpose for us
In His master plan
And your gift is important
As it comes from His hands
Just realize that you might not be the star
But a part of the supporting cast
And your gift is a needed contribution
For the project to be completed at last
God has given you a gift
And its for you to share
Don't think you're insignificant
And don't feel like a spare
For its not how you want to live
Its how God guides your life
Yes you can make a difference
Just trust in the Lord Christ
You might not have been the surgeon
But the nurse who dispensed the medication
You might not have been the producer
But the one who gave the film direction
Understand that opportunities to showcase the gift
That God gave to you
Will come at appointed times
For you to do what you must do
And don't allow that 4 letter word known as fear
Keep you immobilized and standing scared
For you have love, a sound mind and the power of one
Don't let anybody tell you that it cannot be done
Never forget who you are as a child of the King
No longer stuck on stupid never accomplishing anything
Now to be like Queen Esther who stepped out on faith
For such a time as this
To enter the king's chamber her opportunity
Not to missed
And even knowing that she could perish
And lose it all
She took her gift her power of one
And answered her God call
And still today we honor Queen Esther
For her courage and faith in the Lord
She took her power of one and got on board
Possessing intentionality, purpose
And a decisive spirit
She went to save her people
And by the grace of God she did it
