The Poet's Will
I leave to them, these words I've written
Who struggle with everyday life
The poems about their hardships
How to conquer their sorrow and strife
And to those with broken hearts
I leave the poems I've written of healing
The poems that tell of life after love
And how to fill the empty feeling
And to those, who are always lonely
I leave the poems I've written on friends
The poems that tell of a helping hand
To a stranger that a person extends
And to those who are looking for romance
I leave the poems I've written on love
The poems that tell of a soulmate
That comes from Heaven above
And to those who have lost their smile
I leave the poems to make them laugh
The poems that tickle their funny bone
That puts them on the right path
And to those who need inspiration
I leave my heart, my soul and my mind
For two heads are always better than one
When the words seem too hard to find
