The Poets' Senses

I see life in color
I see through poet's eyes
I see people for who they are
And not for their disguise
I hear life in voices
I hear with poet's ears
I hear the rhymes,
And save the dimes
To make them last for years
I feel life in strokes I feel with poet's hands
I feel the rhythmic movement,
As we dance across the lands
I breathe life in long inhales
I breathe with poet's nose
I breathe in the fresh air,
And the wet pavement of the road
I taste life and savor it
I taste with poet's mouth
I taste and remember good feelings
For when things start going south
I think thoughtfully
I think with poet's mind
I think things through and wonder vastly,
And turn them into rhymes
I love immensely
I love with poet's heart
I love each person differently
Because I don't judge them from the start
I speak with poet's mouth
I speak in poet's voice
I speak up and let people know
I've made my thought out choice
You can be a poet too
All it takes is one
Slow down and think a bit
Enjoy life, walk, don't run.

Another lovely poem, and from the heart. I enjoyed the truth and honesty of it.
