The Poet's Language of Love
will some words of affirmation
twinkle your morning star
maybe you need some comments
just to know the poet you are
could some simple acts of service
bring you what is needed most
why don’t some people comment
on the poems we choose to post
maybe you’re not a writer
instead you choose to read each line
you could possibly love to write
but skip the comment cause you’re almost blind
we need some understanding
a little more patience to go around
if we could simply learn the language
then maybe we could find some common ground
