The Poetry Soup Cat

Thank you, Mom for a kitchen floor, sparkling clean.
You make me smile, you are my heart’s very gleam!

Each fun-filled, glorious day, is just ours together.
It really matters, not to us, what the outside weather.

Sun or rain, I snuggle near you, I bring you my peace,
To pen your simple poetry, and may you never cease.

I am smiling today to your sweet,kind poet friends.
You meet them in the morn, and when the day ends!

I plan to live with them afterI pass. This cat has heard many a piem. Mine and others. My daughter cared for her when I broke my leg a few years agi. I did not see her for five months.
