The Poet Snarkies

The Poet Snarkies These are the pigtailed cuties who play in the parkies. Also, so darling and sparkly, they are the the life of all parties. Till a new girl comes in and tries to simply jump rope, She has no idea they are Snarkies and they will lead her to like them. Alas, she is has no hope. At first they welcome this playmate! But be sure, their friendship with her has an end date. Suddenly, they see, OMG, she's jumping too Far better than they. So, being Snarkies, plan  do all they can to see that she does not last. Like boys playing King of the Hill, The Snarkies have sweet words to tell,  before they move in for the kill. One afternoon she comes to the Park, She's told to get out, by the Lead Snark. She just does not get it!! Just leaves them snickering as she walks alone, on a bench to sit. The new girl wakes up the next morning And knows it's her day to be dawning. She learned her lesson well! And has no more Snarkies to poison her poetry well. Adios, Snarkies! Panagiota Romios 4/24/2019 9:30 am PST
