The Poet and the Muse
The poet - his creative mind is seized by the urge of expression
The muse – it blooms like a flower tinged with patina of passion.
The imagination – it spreads the wide wings of imagery to fly high
The flower – its fragrance trails the song of soaring bird in the sky.
The cloud – it carries the molten contours of emotion adrift slow
The rain – its torrent takes the cadence of the heart with the flow.
The river – it winds in life’s terrain as sunburst sky shines above
The sea – it listens to the rippling water creating the lyric of love.
The words – they form lattice of pearl the golden beach saves
The poem – it cascades as the muse rides the rhythm of waves.
