The Poem

Stars blaze the night
While a pen of tears
Smears words across,
A white sheet of fears

Letting out your soul
To breathe a verse
Something you seek
No need to rehearse

A powerful statement
The thoughts from within
A time taking pain
Once you finally begin

A constant word play
Descriptive and woven
The purest of feelings
Are the ones you’ve chosen

To write and recite
Put down in words
Because balls of paper
Will never be heard.

Hey Phill! Great to see you here! An excellent poem...I remember it. As far as reviews...you review people and they will review you. And of course...placing in contest gets you reviews. Checking reviews and seeing how many people have viewed your poem is so much easier here. And the contests are much fun!
