The Plea of the Wise

The wise man

On his knees the divine implored

Not to grant him immortality

For

Unbearable he found

To witness eternally the suffering

Of Man!

Hello Demetrios, Well said for sure in every respect!! Mankind has always had its own degree of suffering and disappointment. I agree with Tom Cunningham, the notion of Heaven on Earth that some people posit is a false narrative. A very timely and poignant write!!
