The Piper Cometh

Pay the Piper,
he has come to collect.
Empty your pockets,
eliminate your debt.

The joyride is over,
it came with a price.
The Piper knows the amount,
he is extremely precise.

Revenge has many forms,
it has finally come to interrupt.
Today it takes the shape of the Piper,
time to pay up.

'Though the mills of God grind slowly, still they grind exceeding small,' said Longfellow. Also, 'Revenge is a dish best served cold.' Thanks for your honest write!

Thanks Andrew, Revenge is best served cold. It is even better when it has a price tag :)

Seems like everything in life comes with a price. Nicely penned, Rebecca, I hope this is not something actually happening in your life. All the best my friend. John
