The Pilot

The Pilot

The road ahead seems clear and free,
The way so certainly sure.
No obstacle do I anywhere see
To the end, I will surely endure.

So goes the thinking of many this day,
As pride in self is maintained.
No possibility exists for an uncertain way
As self-confidence is daily retained.

That untraveled road cannot be known
Regardless of how smart you may be.
Unless, of course, the course you have been shown
By One Who can everything see.
