The Pillow

STRUGGLING WITH SELF, MEMORIES SITTING UPON MY SHELF. STRUGGLING WITHIN, FIGHTING A BATTLE I CANNOT WIN. LIVING WITHOUT, YOU ARE WHAT I THINK ABOUT. LOVING YOU STILL, CAN'T SEEM TO SWALLOW THIS BITTER PILL. SEEING YOUR EYES YOUR FACE HOW IT BEAMS, BUT SEEING THEM ONLY IN SLUMBER AND DREAMS. WANTING TO SLEEP, ALL NIGHT AND ALL DAY. TO BE WITH YOU, I KNOW OF NO OTHER WAY. IT'S TIME TO DREAM, I MISS YOU SO MUCH, NOW MY EYES THEY WILL CLOSE, MY PILLOW I'LL CLUTCH Copyright ©2009 Robert Longinetti
