The Pier

Moonlight shimmering upon the sea
Your beautiful scent on an ocean breeze
As rippling waters encroach on the sand
Temptation takes over and a kiss began

To speak at this moment
We both shall not dare
Should this pier run eternal
I'd walk with you there

Forgetting the world
And those all around
Our hearts beating faster
This passion abounds

Like the tides ebb and flow
And persist for all time
So will my love
Your beauty divine

So cast unto me
Your meaning of life
Let's catch every sunset
And let love be our guide
