The Pie of Music

Sing a song of Christmas, here in the UK, Hands are making pastry for the festive day. Fill with ripe sultanas, candied peel and spice, Pop them in the oven, they'll be ready in a trice! Mince pies are delicious, with a cup of tea. Tantalising flavours work in harmony. Jazz them up with sherry, lemon juice for zest, Always have some ready for that unexpected guest! Just a word of warning, bridle any greed. All in moderation is a worthwhile creed. One more for the road you may see as a boon, But when indigestion strikes, I think you'll change your tune! 13/12/18 ( Best sung to the tune of 'sing a song of sixpence nursery rhyme!) Tantalizing and very tempting, Wendy! I like the content and the smooth flowing lines (and rhyme). Yes...even cholesterol will have a feast:) ~ Regards // paul

They are delicious but I tend to buy the mini ones for my health's sake these days and then hope for the willpower to leave it at one! Thank you for reading and commenting, Pixie.
