The Pickup Truck

The pickup truck ahead of us Had decals on the glass, The first a flag – American – Like many cars we pass. The second, a machine gun, At an angle, all in white, Announcing to the world Someone is looking for a fight. I guess interpretation May arrive at different ends But I’m pretty sure that driver Wouldn’t be among my friends.

This one scares me to death "The second, a machine gun, At an angle, all in white, Announcing to the world Someone is looking for a fight." I thought "I hope it is fiction" but I am terrified it is the truth.

This country is becoming trigger happy! Last year in my apartment complex we had a shooting: a murder and two shot residents! The perpetrated shot himself in his apartment. Why he was allowed to have a gun was never explained. / Maurice

People like to tell you who they are. Beware the violent.

People who carry guns are always looking for an opportunity to justify their purchase . . . . .

Machine gun? Phooey … I’d be more worried if it was a decal saying ‘Kids on board’. Seriously, Ilene, an unnerving write… I’ll keep an eye on those decals in future. Terry

Seems like everyone here in Col drives a pick up truck. Instead of decals we used to see 2 or 3 guns in a rack in the back window! Happy Thanksgiving - Bob

Nor mine, Ilene. I carefully notice stickers, etc., on the bumpers or back windows of vehicles. I have learned to just pass on by...it's safter not to be around some people; you never know what they are going to do.
