The Piano Man
Wether to reflect his emotions
Or to express his inner thoughts
The Piano Man waits
To compose for the right cause
He does not wish to be famous
He does not wish to be known
He does not wish for all his talent to be shown
He doesnt care if hes poor
He doesnt care if hes rich
He does not care to not be remembered when dead in a ditch
Him and his Piano is all hes ever known
No father or Mother
Nor a brother, neither a sister
Not a single freind Apart from his piano
He can be joyfull in his tunes and happily play
Leading his deap deppresion astray
But there are times when it chooses to linger more
And irritate a wound already so sore
And his music becomes tears, cries evermore
He doesnt know if he can take this pain anymore
A deceased mother and a drunken father who did not care
An orphan from birth can be quite a nasty scare
to uncover
He was different and unique
His soul was pure
And through all the darkes times he can endure
His best freind since he was a young man
Has always been there
and centuries it will stand
And centuries it will care
To the townfolk, hes a lunatic that lives in a can
To the children who sit and listen to his story
He is The Amazing Piano Man.
