"The Periwinkle Time"
Blues crushed prepossessing Violet Lavender starbursts sharp as diamonds undressed, a soul preys with black as crow feathered lashes that rim the open mirrors There in the Pierian Reviviscence of Periwinkle within each twin reflection auroral Jade unveils seductively a Silent secret truth "Ho scritto una storia d'amore senza inizio e senza fine... per scriverla con te" then skips two stones emeralds across a deep pond Within the stone skipped ripples time bends wet and bodies like arrows find their spooning quivers within the stone skipped ripples time bends wet - romance delivered; Lips of wanton words that whisper silent codes for breaking when Autumn reigns o’er misty mystery mistaken "Women", he’s just read Phantom lovers Under covers of leaves rustling gold and read he dives in to unfold, "The Hidden" - a silent story within the lines, Red He parts the Sea’s secrets a treasure box unbolted in all Her ocean’s tempestuous glory, like a Raven ravenous for one more story To a wall his name he sings as if he is a forgotten thing Vibrato he is felt Tremolo he is heard a silent voice becomes Verdi loud amongst the messed-up white noise din In the Periwinkle Time Blue Irises shining moist opals now onyx in their dark devotion a heart is swollen and swallowed ceremonially he imparts to Her a hidden token Green so very green is the milky Oriental Orchid Periwinkle adorns her with a necklace dripping pearls she thought she was a woman now she smiles foolish bewitched enchanted girl Exotic stamen imprints ink stains upon her skin he's breathing words now trapped upon Her tongue hiding Silent within his shadow behind his favourite place, The Untouchable Sun burning high above In the Periwinkle time he dreams of things forbidden he dreams of finding Love (LadyLabyrinth/2019)

“Here, too, I found neither home nor company, nothing but a seat from which to view a stage where strange people played strange parts.” Steppenwolf/Herman Hesse

"Animals are sad as a rule," she went on. "And when a man is sad—I don't mean because he has a toothache or has lost some money, but because he sees, for once in a way, how it all is with life and everything, and is sad in earnest—he always looks a little like an animal. He looks not only sad, but more right and more beautiful than usual." Steppenwolf

“There was once a man, Harry, called the steppenwolf. He went on two legs, wore clothes and was a human being, but nevertheless he was in reality a wolf of the steppes. He had learned a good deal of all that people of a good intelligence can, and was a fairly clever fellow. What he had not learned, however, was this: to find contentment in himself and his own life.”

“...he called himself the Steppenwolf, and this too estranged and disturbed me a little. What an expression...a wolf of the steppes that had lost its way and strayed into the towns and the life of the herd, a more striking image could not be found for his shy loneliness, his savagery, his restlessness, his homesickness, his homelessness.”

"There are a good many people of the same kind as Harry. Many artists are of his kind. These persons all have two souls, two beings within them. Thee is God and the devil in them; the mother's blood and the father's; the capacity for happiness and the capacity for suffering; and in just such a state of enmity and entanglement towards and within each other as were the wolf and man in Harry. And these men, for whom life has no repose, live at times in their rare moments of happiness with such strength and indescribable beauty, the spray of their moment's happiness is flung so high and so dazzlingly over the wide sea of suffering, that the light of it, spreading its radiance, touches others too with its enchantment."

"Thus, like a precious, fleeting foam over the sea of suffering arise all those works of art, in which a single individual lifts himself for an hour so high above his personal destiny that his happiness shines like a star and appears to all who see it as something eternal and as a happiness of their own.” Steppenwolf, Herman Hesse

Walking in the haunted wet wild mossy Lost Lovers Woods long enough you are bound to meet a true WOLF...or two. Trust you are on the mend. Much love, Lilith.

Just beautiful, the essence of heart revealed is revelled. A deepness captured, held and cherished and that song plays purrfect like catnip to the tongue.

Many varities of catnip grow at the base of all those huge and majestically towering hard Redwood trees silently watching our protagonists' journey...lots of feral wildcats in the Woods, lovesick and rolling in moss, waiting for the True Wolf. Regards, Black Crow Mojo....aka....
