The Perfect Christmas Gift

Money for the greedy,
Love for the broken hearts,
Food for those who are hungry, 
And clothes for those who don’t have.

Health for those who are sick,
Laughter for those who cry,
Parents for the orphans,
And a child for those who don’t have.

Hidden treasures for the pirates,
A good teacher for those who study,
A good student for those who teach,
And fame for those who don’t have.

Unknown lands for the sailors,
Satisfaction for those who work hard,
A masterpiece for an artist,
And contentment for those who don’t have.

For me the perfect Christmas gift is—
A smile that I can bring on the faces who are dry.
