The Pc Hi Tech Age

In this modern age of ours
with all the gadgets of the day
pc's, laptops, i-phones, tablets
what would our ancestors say?

These new things are all well and good
but they do take up lots of time time
that can be so precious
so little even for a drink of lime

The longer we sit at our screens
the worse our eyesight can be
we need be sure to take a rest
so to protect our eyes to see

It's easy to get caught up
with facebook, twitter and the like
social media can really grip us
from it we should go on strike

Our ancestors would not envy us
of all this pc hi tech age
they had one real special gift
time to live on their world's stage

I was only talking with my mum about the amazing changes she has seen over her lifetime - she was born in 1922. A great write about technology and how it impacts onto our lives:-) Hugs Jan xx
