Clear truth’s known to spherical sight
Hidden behind veil of our mind
It is soul’s self-existent light
We see it not since we are blind
Being from the source misaligned
By stuporous thoughts, we’re controlled
In narrow grooves, by dark fears splined
Is how dreams within dreams unfold
We wish to reach zenith like height
But are anchored in ego’s bind
It seems hopeless is our soul’s plight
For though ego is wined and dined
That sublime joy we’re yet to find
Until love warms deadened heart cold
Becoming with God’s laws aligned
Is how dreams within dreams unfold
Pulse of love discerns wrong from right
The way is simple, just be kind
Why for stoop, fearful and contrite
Simply play life role as assigned
With erst feral instincts declined
Loosening thus the ego’s hold
Reclaiming bliss as God designed
Is how dreams within dreams unfold
Whence we become divine entwined
As living light scriptures extolled
Bliss drenched soul, in prayer reclined
Is how dreams within dreams unfold
