Notes About The Poem

'Train up a child in the way he should go.'  (Proverbs 22:6) Standard English Translation)

'Educate a child according to the way he goes'  (Literal translation of the Hebrew, gw)

The Path Taken

The path the child takes, gently guide him there
~ not where you 'need him to go'

Gershon, I like this poem for our children. Sage advice. -Richard

Thank you so much, Richard. Surely the Proverbs' original intent (in Hebrew) was somehow tweaked ever-so-slightly in English, to England and America's misfortune, I believe. :) Gersho
