The Path of Freedom

Let's not waste
any more time
     We must seek
our freedom
     Before we are
taken from
     these shores
As we move into
new experiences
     Delight in
new dreams
     Rainbows appear
in the distance
       and give us relief
from the tyranny of
the years
You can fly
like a sparrow,
Float like a white cloud
     Blown by the west wind
If you plan your days
    with consumate grace

Truly beautiful, Matthew. I think we all try to escape "the tyranny of the years." Well done, Carolyn

Matthew, this is inspirational and paints a tender, loving picture of living gracefully. Well done, my friend. Donna G. ** P.S.How about some white tea with strawberry undertones?

I wish I could float like a white cloud about now. You think you have it all planned out, then life does it's thing and throws you a curve ball or two. Well Matthew, a very beautiful write. Keep flying my friend. Life is a beautiful gift. Love, Shar
