The Path I'll Take

Crashing of the thunder shakes my every city
Roads and pavement cracks receive no pity

Twists and turns in every direction
Flaws and shame revealed in every confession

I'm never sure
Who’s at my core
But that’s the path
I’m going to have to take

Flow’rs dying in a cold, cold winter
Bears retreat to caves and enter

Trees are cying tears frozen forever
Birds are flying to migrate from the weather

I’m never sure
Can I go on anymore?
But that’s a yes
I’m going to have to make

And that’s a death
I’m going to have to evade
That’s a breath
I’m going to have to take

Crash of thunder shake my every committee
Cleanse my soul, drench my every city

Flood all the roads
I’m going to go
On the path
I’m going to have to take
