The Path

The Path

As I walk down the wooded path;
I feel great peace, at last.
The sunshine beams from above;
Warming me with E'lohi's love.

The birds singing in harmony;
A song telling me that I am free.
The water in the river, flows;
Gratitude within me grows.

Wildflowers in bloom, along the ridge;
A fallen tree becomes a bridge.
I take a seat upon it's bark;
Content to stay till the woods are dark.

Happily, in the woods I stay;
Many blessings to Grandfather I pray.
For loved ones in this world below;
And those above, for whom I've known.
