The Path

I tumbled upon the white cold floor
And saw man gazing down
I think he was not surprised at all
But he could notice me frown

Then he said how your ride was
Have you eaten anything?
I thought why he asked such a question
What was the real thing?

Then I could figure out
By look at the massive place
And I know who the man really was
He knew, that I know him, by my face

This is the last of the first
That you have walked up on your life
Welcome to the land of light
Say goodbye to night
