The Path

Although at times life is dark and weary
I stick with loved ones to pass the time

My life is a lot very hard and dreary
The God I thank is just and kind

Even toughest circumstances are easy to beat
Many small blows can bring you defeat

But keep your head up and don’t ever stop trying
Changing your course isn’t always ‘a bad’

After going the distance and basically flying
One day you’ll say, “What a great life I had.”

Even if things start to turn for the worse
Start praying for a blessing, not fearing a curse.
