The Path
Nothing is as it seems
Deep in my soul i understand,
That there are no coincidences
Its all by grand design and plan.
Who i meet, where i go, and what i do
Pre-arrangenged before i wake each day,
Though each choice and decision is mine
Im prodded by the spirit to go a certain way.
I have fallen, made mistakes at a cost
But i realize they are lessons meant for me,
By a loving God who holds my future
And only good intentions planned for me.
So i face the challenge of each day
Knowing the outcome is not in my hands alone,
And ill stay forever on this narrow road
That will one day lead me home.
