The Pastor and the Politician

The Pastor's Life Is quite often one of hypocrisy.
And so too the Politician.
Maybe even moreso the politician.
It is often like the Evil Devil Correcting Sin.
I cannot really take on such blasphemous attitudes.
These are 2 pillars of our society which are not standing up
Firm and Strong.

The commonality in them is that they both screw and befudle/hoodwink/rob the poor blind,
And lust after money and power.
Not all of them, there are some truly sincere ones.
But The Good ones are too few in between for my liking.
We Know them by their actions.
Their acts tell on them.

But Life will go on beyond this realm of Hypocrisy.
It must go on.
And though I sympathise with the Poor who are the benificiaries of the squeeze
In all this mire of double standards, illusion and hypocrisy,
I still think and emphasise that God is the poor man's protector.

But I remain optimistic
That one day these norms will change an submerge.
And we will be blessed with more truthful politicians and better more sincere pastors.
And not ones clouded or covered in false prophecy and Pretence.
One of these days we will get another leader like Jose Mujica,
Like Dugu Gordon of Nevis and J.N. France of St. Kitts-Nevis.
My Hope is that one day these imposters will realise that
What you put into LIFE is what you get out.
Jino Jennings once quipped that a license does not make you a pastor
If you do not have God in You.
Try to be a pastor or leader like Jino Jennings or Bishop TUTU.
Both religion and Politics need to take a greater step towards the greater Good.
And it begins with The Pastor and The Politician-The Leadership.
