The Parting
See my heart, in the ocean of your eyes
drowning because you've left me in disguise.
Feel my breath that's slipping away
by each passing second in dismay.
You are gone saying it's the end
did you know you're my only friend?
truth is that it's the start
start of loneliness, as we part.
