The Paradox of Time
You've seen
what time can do
How
winds
carve rock
and how ancient seas
dumped their sediment
on the ground
take note
of the changes
Proceed cautiously
Our eyes have
tasted fire
our ears have
seen the progression of time
Let's take joy in
nature's dance
Let the earth
take a few more whirls
wait patiently for
the inevitable march
of the days, months, millenia
