The Parade

close your eyes
and visualize
a parade
today
imagine all the floats
and people marching
let go of all your thoughta
and watch them float away
today's the day
you'll be reborn
and sworn to independence
live a new life
don't let anyone stand in our way today
close your eyes
and visualize

Cesar Cantu July 15, 2009 at 8:24 PM I like your poetry, it is so "airy", fluid, light, and pretty solid in its shortness, which is amazing @.@ jojojoj I like this poem completely, specially the final lines, I think we should all take some time to stop being solid matter and transform into ideas every once in a while @.@ thanks for the experience =D
