The Palace of Dreams - Er

There is a place where we end up
The holy scriptures tell us such
Somewhere beyond the stars it seems
In our dear Lord’s palace of dreams.

When heaven’s pearly gates arise 
It’s come the time to fly o’er skies 
To bide in splendour so serene 
In our dear Lord’s palace of dreams.

Most of us will have had a peek
Inside paradise in our sleep
It’s man’s desiring in extreme
In our dear Lord’s palace of dreams.

Dance life with Christ, dance in His light
Act kindly always, never smite
One day you will become esteemed 
In our dear Lord’s palace of dreams.

Though Heaven’s many miles away 
God hears every prayer we pray
Grace embraces those who redeem
In our dear Lord’s palace of dreams.
