The Pains of Life

Although we struggle
With our strife
Through the sun, the rain
The pains of life.

You are the beat
In my heart
Twenty four hours a day
Finish to start.

You are the tears
In my soul
The part of me
That makes me whole.

I have traveled
Through space, through time
Hoping and wishing
Praying to find.

My other half
A love strong and true
Now and forever
I will always love you.
