The Outsider

No matter how hard I try
I'm still left on the outside
All alone once again
Can never fully understand
Trying to hold my composer
I'm losing my grip
Doesn't matter that I've always been there
I'm not on that level
So my opinion's tossed aside
Everything's a big secret
SHH, she won't understand
Don't even bother
She doesn't belong here
Can't handle our world
How do you know!?
You never give me a chance!
You only assume...
Do you know how I hurt?
Do you know how I long to understand?
No! All you know is I don't
Hear what you hear...
Feel what you feel...
Whatever, it's okay
Go ahead and think that way
You'll need me again someday
