The Out Cry of Just One

How many times must I struggle with this mind
My inner most thoughts sometimes holds me confined
Isolation is a key
To dealing with my deeds
I get down on my knees
And ask the LORD please
Don't let me become an abomination in your eyes
My soul is dry
At times I feel lonely inside
Lord GOD teach me to bear
Because most people just stare
Provide me with your love and your care
For I know that your there
Help me overcome and become
So I can follow your Son
The one true Messiah
Speaking words of life flaming with fire
Constantly calling the devil a liar
The enemy's flattering toungue
Continuosly seducing me to thinkig that sinning is fun
Placing fixtures and pictures
You know the ones that always lead you to sin
Lord GOD help me summon the warrior within
The Spirit of power
Which constantly hollers
Abba Father
No longer must I think like a mobster to prosper
This type of thinking belongs to thee impostor
See I use to be that kid on the block
Who always held the dope and a glock
And in pain and in rage
I polluted my brains
Whith all types of chemicals
At the time did miracles
I was polluting my physical spiritual lyrical gift
Thinking that I was quick swift
Performing that nonsense
I was sick with a fit
Ready to let off on the first man that snitched
But I thank GOD for that the REV.
Who didn't leave me for dead
The holy words he feed
And to Jesus I begged
Get me out this lonely cell
With seven years and no bail
At nineteen I uderstood that I've failed
But my GOD told me that I would prevail
And here I am today with a story to tell
