The Others
Call me a pauper
Call me a beggar
Call me a drifter
Call me a thief
Call me whatever
Don't say my name
But I'm in your face
You can't miss me
I was once a child
I was once a student
I was once happy
I was once loved
If you were me
What would you say
If I were you
I wouldn't look away
My world is cold
My world is dark
Your world is distant
Our worlds co-exist
You look down
I look up
You see the dirt
I see the sun
You're satisfied
And take for granted
I don't have enough
Yet I get by
Don't blame me
I walk my rocky road
While you drive down yours
in an air-conditioned car
